Experience:
Liveaboard cruiser averaging 280 days on the water per year. Sailing since 1984. Over 20,000 miles on the water including 10,000 Off-Shore miles. Inland lake sailing on Lake Pepin, MN, Lake Minnetonka, MN, Apostle Islands, Wisconsin and Lake Superior, Door County and Traverse Bay, Lake Michigan; Overnight Offshore passages across Gulf Stream between Florida and Bahamas; Delivered Takes Me Away II from the ABC Islands to Panama-an 850 mile offshore passage. Sailed and cruised the Eastern Caribbean islands from Tortola to Trinidad, Venezuela, the ABC islands, and Panama; delivery of sailboat from S.C. to St. Lucia, cruised Bahamas, Caribbean, and Panama.

Classroom Education:
US coast Guard Auxiliary-Sailing and Seamanship, US Power Squadron Boating, Seamanship, Piloting, Advanced Piloting, Engine Maintenance, and Weather Knowledge with charts, navigation, on-board electronics and systems, and anchoring. PADI certified scuba diver.

Dianne is an Entrepreneur-Businesswoman of her own Financial Planning Business in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She grew up in the midwest and wonders where her love of the sea came from.
